After thriving in the Australian, European & New Zealand markets, Lumin Sports is looking to make its mark in the US, expanding on the initial success it has had in the college market during its recent soft launch.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a motivated Sales Executive who would thrive on being our first US sales hire in an exciting and high-growth technology start up that is proud of its high-performance culture.

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will play a defining role in making Lumin the ‘Digital HQ for Athletic Performance.’

Requirements

Your Experience:

  • At least 2 years sales experience preferred.
  • Exceptional proven sales success working directly in-person with customers, decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Existing knowledge of the sports industry, with particular focus on technology, strength and conditioning and sport science.
  • You are very independent, can think on your feet, & don’t require others to influence your motivation to succeed. You will be very well supported, but are leading the US sales front, boots on the ground.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal. You know what to say and more importantly, how and when to say it.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage in direct sales. Direct sales process will include generating and qualifying leads and customer needs, recommendation of correct solution, pricing, negotiation, contract signing.
  • Make outbound (cold) calls, emails and LinkedIn reach-outs daily. 
  • Discover customer requirements and communicate those requirements back to Head of Sales, Marketing and the product development team.
  • Meet and exceed quota targets set for establishing sales
  • Represent Lumin Sports at conferences, speaking events & trade shows – with the focus of generating leads.
  • Identify attractive channels to market, strategic partners, advertising and PR tactics.
  • Engaging in customer success activities such as assisting with onboarding, being available for tech support and following up clients for feedback.
  • Understanding different market segments within the US sports industry to adjust your sales approach as required.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

  • Pipeline management: enter and maintain data in Zoho CRM
  • Weekly Sales strategy meetings with the Head of Sales over Zoom
