Location: Statewide – New Jersey (In-Home & Field-Based, assigned by the county you choose to serve)
Compensation: $250-$300 per completed evaluation

We provide Assistive Technology (AT) evaluations and accessibility assessments to adults with ID/DDs that empower individuals to communicate, live, and thrive more independently.
 
Position Overview
We’re expanding our statewide network of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to conduct Assistive Technology (AT) evaluations, device training, and follow-up support.
This is a per diem, fully remote position with in-home fieldwork opportunities available throughout all 21 counties in New Jersey, including:
Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Salem, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren Counties.
You’ll collaborate with families and interdisciplinary professionals to identify communication devices and adaptive solutions that improve functional communication and accessibility.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-home Assistive Technology (AT) evaluations
Assess functional communication and accessibility needs; recommend appropriate AT devices
Develop individualized evaluation reports aligned with each client’s goals
Complete thorough, compliant evaluation reports meeting State of New Jersey standards
Fit, adapt, and train clients on AT device usage and accessibility tools
Provide training and technical support to clients, families, and support staff
Maintain professional, ethical, and culturally responsive standards in all client interactions

Qualifications
Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology License (required)
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Autism, TBI, or seniors (preferred)
Background or training in Assistive Technology and accessibility evaluations (required)
Strong written communication and documentation skills
Collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered approach
Reliable transportation and a valid New Jersey driver’s license
