| General Description | The Department of Foundational Mathematics invites applications for full-time, tenure-track faculty for the 20262027 academic year. This role offers the opportunity to teach, mentor, and support students while advancing the College's commitment to effective instruction and student success. The Department supports learners at both developmental and higher mathematics levels and seeks candidates qualified to teach developmental and college-level courses, including introductory statistics. We are committed to designing and delivering instruction that builds the foundational mathematics skills students need for success in future college-level courses and to meet the quantitative requirements of their degree or certificate programs. Real-world applications are essential to our teaching; faculty are expected to integrate them to make concepts concrete and strengthen understanding. We also strive to create supportive classrooms that uphold academic rigor while addressing the diverse needs and readiness levels of students in developmental mathematics. |
